Having grown up in the flooring industry, I have been involved in every aspect ; from retailing, procurement, commercial installation / sales and troubleshooting to certified workroom operations for Collins&Aikman ( Tandus) ,J C Penney and Home Depot.
As a natural progression, utilizing the expertise gained over the 44+ years,
I have added a new line item to the existing business and pursued the independent inspection aspect of the flooring industry.
I become an independent FCITS-certified.Hard Surface / Carpet IICRC-CEC flooring inspector (www.fcits.org) servicing manufacturers,architects, installers and homeowners.
My ability to provide an accurate, concise and detailed report / consultation is advantageous in solving any flooring problems or to aid in proper specification and procurement of the best flooring products for your application or project .

In today's new and ever-changing world of retail marketing, the purchasing and installation of flooring has also evolved. To meet this evolution, I have incorporated the new shop-at-home services with the old-fashioned excellence in customer service and quality of experience; not found in the big-box Home Center or the blanket corporations that advertise on TV. Industry standards are promoted and strictly adhered to, i.e. acclimation of flooring to be installed;
pre-cutting of all material to follow Carpet And Rug Institute Guidelines
for indoor air quality; jobsite pre-inspection and moisture testing to ensure installation requirements are met. For maximizing flooring performance, our product knowledge combined with a long history of quality product and excellence in customer service will ensure a positive, cost-effective result.
